Recently, Cost Saving Suggestion Awards 2013-14 were given to our employees from various functions and departments for their contribution by means of their suggestions and ideas, at our Sembium, Chennai plant, as a part of the eCIMP initiative at TAFE.

TAFE opened its new Zonal Office in the upmarket area of Mansarovar in Jaipur. The office was inaugurated on October 25, 2013. The occasion was graced by Mr. Kishore Gehlot, one of our leading dealers in the area who has been associated with TAFE for a long time, Lt. Col. V. Krishnamurthy (Retd.) – GM Admin, Mr. Rajesh Wani – DGM ZO Jaipur, Mr. B Krishnamurthy – Architect, and all others from the Zonal Office. The office was declared functional after a brief pooja.
The office has been designed by TAFE’s in-house infrastructure team comprising of Architect B Krishnamurthy and Lt. Col. V Krishnamurthy (Retd.). It has all modern amenities and utilities, and provides a very conducive atmosphere for functioning. The conference hall is large enough to accomodate all the Rajasthan dealers for a meet.
The entire staff at the Jaipur Zonal Office are really elated with this new office, and we wish them all the very best!
We would like to congratulate the Sales team at TMTL Engines Division for continuously organizing segment-wise meets with top prospective buyers at productive market centres, such as Kolkata in West Bengal, and Meeru in Western Uttar Pradesh.
The rental meets provided the team with an opportunity to share the product features to the buyers. The event also managed to contribute towards strengthening the TMTL brand in these areas.

This year, our colleague, Mr S Logesh Shankar, R&D represented TAFE at SAE 2013 Commercial Vehicle Conference held at Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Illinois, USA from Oct 1-3 2013 onwards.
He had presented a technical paper on ‘Experimental and CFD Investigation for Thermal Comfort Zone of an Agricultural Tractor Operator’. The paper was also co-authored by Mr S Sriraman (VP-R&D), Mr A Rammohan (R&D) and Cmde Rakesh B Verma (EVP-R&D).

The TMTL Engines Division participated in the IIA Trade Fair at Kanpur recently, along with the regional dealer, and we were amazed by the overwhelming response we received from the visitors at our bay. We are glad to meet all the people who dropped by and shared their requirements with us.
